I want to apologize to all who read this post. This is all one big, fat, NOT FUNNY hoax!!! I was heart broken when I found out that our beloved Basedow was hurt, injured, missing, and not going to make any more of his wonderful fitness videos. But to find out all of this was a hoax....I am happy that my abs will soon mirror The O'l John Dawgies. Again, I want to apologize to all for contributing to the spreading of this faux story.

This whole thing is a hoax. I saw Mr. Basedow just the other day walking on the 500 block of U Street, NW in Washington, DC. I hear he has a part-time job at AOL as well. You guys should really check your sources before alamring America like this.

John Basedow is like MacGiver on roids, totally 80s. On a seperate note some people were just rescued yesterday on an island in the Indian Ocean, 38 days after the tsunami. How pissed would you be? I'd kick that guy who jumps out of the chopper in the nuts!
